R G Carter sees training as crucial for the future development of its business and all its employees. We believe it is important to offer a range of safety, technical and management training provided by our in-house facility, Carter Academy.

We offer various learning opportunities to educate our staff professionals in all aspects of our business. The training courses include Health & Safety; Personal Development; and Business Solutions. They will not only help improve our performance as a business but will also help individuals to build their careers.

With our commitment to health and safety, R G Carter believe it is essential to make safety courses available to all our site staff, such as NEBOSH, 5 day SMSTS, first aid and fire-marshal training. We also ensure that all our site staff are supplied with an appropriate skills card, such as CPCS or CSCS, to help improve quality and reduce accidents in the construction industry.

Our professional development programme encompasses all types of facilitated learning opportunities, ranging from college degrees to formal coursework, conferences and informal learning opportunities situated in practice. Our employees are empowered to find the training they feel will benefit them in their roles.
