The design and construction of 12 affordable dwellings in Stoke Ferry, Norfolk.
Constructed on former waste land the project required the safe, documented removal of contaminated land before construction work could begin.
The 12 timber framed properties were built together with all associated hard / soft landscaping.
The client was keen to ensure the design intent was maintained throughout the project. We therefore facilitated design intent meetings, attended by all parties involved; resulting in the incorporation of detailed raised buff brickwork to form gable elevation details, opaque decoration to all external woodwork and dry ridged roofs with Sandtoft charcoal tiles.
The project achieved level 3 of the Code of Sustainable Homes, with gas heating supplemented by solar thermal panels.
