Construction of a new Police Station in Norwich, Norfolk, providing enhanced facilities for a wider range of police services on a single site.
Demolition of the existing 1960s police buildings, a detached house and two semi-detached houses.
Ground remediation was required across the site to allow construction of new two storey police station including steel frame, in-situ cast groundfloor slab and first-floor slab on metal deck.
Roof finishes include slate, aluminium tray roofing and lead sheeting, whilst external wall finishes are of a mixture of brickwork, polished-face blockwork, rain screen and aluminium cladding, curtain walling and timber weatherboarding.
