Introduction:

To design and build a new air traffic control tower for Marshall Aerospace Ltd, on Newmarket Road in Cambridge.

Details:

• Construction of the rectangular, seven storey steel structure, topped with an octagonal Visual Control Room
• Structural steelwork extends to the VCR level
• Intermediate floors utilise holorib decking and structural power floated concrete topping.
• Main elevations are clad with profiled, pre-finished composite sheeting requiring a minimum of maintenance
