Introduction:

R G Carter Projects was commissioned to work with Waitrose on their Store Improvement Programme (SIPS).

Details:

• R G Carter worked on projects to stores in Surbiton in Surrey, Mill Hill and Richmond in London, and Monmouth on the borders of England and Wales.
• Typically these projects involved internal refurbishments and the replacement of refrigeration units with propane based refrigerators which aim to reduce carbon emissions by over 20%.
• Time of Day sales were introduced to the Surbiton Store. This system gives customers pre-prepared foods that match the times they are sold from breakfast through to supper.
• The works have given the stores new entrances in some instances, and improved layout, offering customers a more logical and easier shopping experience.
