Set up in late 1997, the department has grown from nothing to a turnover of in excess of £5 million, covering the whole of East Anglia for numerous Insurance Companies and Loss Adjusters. Due to this expansion and the recruitment needed to aid this expansion, we have extended our offices at City Road. This office now houses the call centre team and acts as a base for the surveyors undertaking validation reports on insurance claims.

We currently manage and administer all domestic insurance work on behalf of R G Carter Construction Ltd. New work typically amounts to over 1000 new instructions every month for a number of leading insurers, loss adjusters and call centres. However, the vast majority of this work is instructed under our delegated authority remit allowing us to self-validate/repudiate claims, thus accelerating response and repair times enormously.

To manage this operation, we have installed a fully integrated and networked I.T. system to administer all claims. Our 24hr call centre boasts the support of eleven Carter bases whose geographical spread covers the whole of East Anglia including the NR, IP, CO, CM, CB, PE, SG, LN, NN & MK postcode areas. We have also installed mobile phones into our vans and have invested in credit card facilities to accelerate policy excess collection, digital cameras to record claim details, a fleet of liveried vans and a back-up call centre with contingency plans in the unlikely event of a major incident.
