We like to be actively involved in working with local communities making improvements where possible and encouraging our employees to get involved in community activities.
We respect the communities in which we operate. We try to give back with community projects, school engagements, and site visits.
We make every effort to minimise the disruption we cause by monitoring sound levels, reducing traffic and working suitable hours.
We support local economies by using local suppliers and subcontractors where we can.
We continue to support charities every year and our employees are always keen to fund-raise.
The Trivium is R G Carter’s chosen charity event for 2013 in which participants completed a 50k cycle, a 10k run or a 6.5k walk to raise money for the chosen charity for the year, East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH). Over 200 people took part and we are hoping to raise as much money as possible. Last year’s main charity event, the Carter 50/50, attracted 100 participants who collectively raised £16,000 for EACH.
