The R G Carter Group is committed to high levels of Occupational Health Safety and Welfare, a commitment driven and implemented by the most senior management levels and all personnel. Commitment which not only protects and safeguards all employees but also our clients their staff and members of the public. Commitment which has seen 15 Directors and Senior Managers achieve the National Examination Board for Occupational Safety and Health Construction Certificate, this initiative is fixed in the Groups construction and training agenda.
A long established and robust Health Safety and Welfare Management system is in place and is integrated into all areas of our business, this is under continual review by the Group Health Safety and Welfare steering committee which comprises of senior management members, including our Health and Safety Director. This system is supported by registration to OHSAS 18001.
Within the Group there is a dedicated professional team of qualified Health and Safety Advisors who assist, support and guide all levels of management, they also carry out regular training, inspections and audits as part of their responsibilities.
A good culture is key to achieving our Health Safety and Welfare goals of consistently improving and maintaining a high standard in the workplace for all who are involved in, or come into contact with our activities. A culture which is continually improving and benefiting all!!
