Construction is a team effort and there are opportunities in the construction industry for people interested in technical and management careers such as Quantity Surveying, Estimating and Project Management. The R G Carter Group seek to recruit trainee professionals who are looking to pursue a career in the construction industry. To meet the demands of the business it has implemented a structured training programme to meet the aspirations of the company and it's trainees. The group is partnering with the University Campus Suffolk to deliver a programme of studies, enabling technicians to gain a foundation degree. The opportunity is available and the company encourages trainee technicians to progress on to an honours degree programme with the specific aim of allowing them to gain corporate membership of a professional institute, such as the CIOB or RICS. Support is given throughout the training period and the group pays all training fees.
R G Carter helps, guides and develops the careers of all it's trainess and apprentices. Each trainee working for the group has a personal development plan and an experienced mentor and coach/counsellor, who will ensure that the trainees technical knowledge and personal skills are developing in the right way. | |
