Our office at Thetford has had the pleasure of working with local social enterprise The Horticulture Industry Scheme (THIS) for over two years. After the winter spell, the team were back to get our grounds looking neat and tidy, providing garden maintenance services from clearing leaves and strimming, to mowing and weeding; whatever is needed!
THIS provides employment opportunities to former offenders, those at risk of offending and people who have experienced homelessness, mental health challenges or addiction. Working with businesses and private homes, they work in and around Thetford and across the county.
Horticulture has long been associated with personal growth and positive well-being. THIS believe growth is a steady process and aim to improve each
individual’s chances of finding work by providing opportunities to contribute to their community and demonstrate dedication.
