To help support Epilepsy Awareness Day, or “Purple Day” as it is often known after the international flower of epilepsy lavender, the R G Carter Academy team at our Thetford office helped raise money, encouraging everyone to wear an item of purple and baking tasty treats to raise funds.
Created in 2008 by Cassidy Megan, a young girl from Canada who has epilepsy, the idea behind this special day is to raise awareness and get people talking about this condition which affects around 600,000 people in the UK.
Thank you to everyone that helped bake and donated for this wonderful cause.
