On the Rockingham Wing at Kettering General Hospital, our team were delighted to hand over the wards to the NHS, ready for the fit-out for the maternity and triage department.
The failsafe RAAC works installed across part of the first floor wing, will help increase the longevity and safety of the building, along with the upgrading of its fire protection and M&E services. New floors, ceilings and bedheads, with full redecoration has transformed these vital wards, which within 24 hours of the official opening, all 29 beds were occupied!
Set in a live environment these challenging works have been delivered due to positive collaboration with the NHS Foundation Trust and Munro, and through long days and weekend hours committed to getting the job done by all the team. Thank you to everyone involved.
