It was great to welcome our in-house design team from Carter Design Group to Oaklands College to view progress, where they are delivering full architectural, structural and civil engineering design across both the Construction Centre and Sports Pavilion.
Here is the team during their tour of the steel structure for the new Sports Pavilion.
The space will be split into a gym, studio and store, with adjacent changing facilities and offices to accommodate the Pavilion and the outdoor sports pitches at this St Albans college.
The new Construction Centre bring built is now well underway, its externals now complete. The first floor of the building will house mock ‘construction’ bays and workshops for electrical students, whilst the ground floor will cater for plumbing and mechanical courses.
The tour was a great opportunity for CDG to see their work brought to life!
