At Waitrose in Swaffham, the R G Carter team delivered an 8 week refurbishment, as part of the retailer’s five year ‘Like for Like’ roll out to upgrade existing stores. Joining Waitrose staff and the many customers, keen to start their shop, the team celebrated with a 7.30am ‘goodie bag giveaway’ and official ribbon cutting.
The scheme is driven by the replacement of refrigeration, replacing mechanical and electrical systems for more sustainable and efficient options. Internal upgrades included new counters and a new Sushi Bar. The team also replaced the roof, installed new cold rooms and enhanced the car park.
Well done to everyone involved.
The team are now busy at the next Waitrose store in Saxmundham.
