At the University of East Anglia Edith Cavell Building near the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, we are now nearing completion of the new extension, to house training facilities for the School of Anatomy.
Two large open plan Anatomy training rooms, separated by folding doors, are now complete ready to be fitted out, along with the Cloakroom and office spaces. The team are now finishing the external façade, which included the installation of 2425 aluminium shingle tiles.
This state-of-the-art new facility will help UEA increase capacity for practical teaching and extra provision for courses at undergraduate, post graduate and specialist training levels, and provide flexibility to react to technological changes in teaching methods.
