To help improve the health and safety of residents at Bowthorpe Care Village, the R G Carter team has been carrying out social value work in the communal garden.
After backfilling a dangerous and abandoned pond at the rear of the communal garden with shingle, the team transformed the space into a small, tranquil seating area. This included installing a low-level surrounding fence and a bench.
To further enhance the space, Stan Hooks from R G Carter, created two plant troughs from left over timber from a nearby site, which once planted up, will help brighten the area for residents and their families to enjoy.
A simple but effective contribution to the local community.
