Drayton office (but working on sites throughout Norfolk) - Permanent - Full Time - Mon - Fri - 7:00am to 5:00pm
Background
R G Carter Ltd are seeking to recruit an Apprentice Site Manager to join their established team of professionals, based in their Drayton office. The successful candidate will be dealing with a diverse range of interesting and challenging projects across multiple sectors. You will be enrolled onto a Level 4 Apprenticeship – Construction Site Supervisor at Norwich City College the apprenticeship is 24 months. This course can lead onto a Site Manager degree apprenticeship.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the day-to-day management of construction sites.
- Support Site Managers in planning and coordinating site activities.
- Monitor health, safety, and environmental standards on site.
- Help manage subcontractors, suppliers, and deliveries.
- Conduct site inspections and maintain project records.
- Attend site meetings and contribute to progress reports.
- Ensure work is carried out to quality standards and project specifications.
- Complete apprenticeship coursework and training requirements.
Key Skills & Knowledge
- A genuine interest in construction and site management.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths, grade 4/C or above, desirable.
- Full UK driving licence (or working towards one), desirable.
