R G Carter has completed works on a brand new primary school and nursery in Attleborough, Norfolk.
Along with the unique modern design incorporating zinc clad roofs, both buildings will benefit from solar panels, sustainable swales drainage with external areas including a ‘food growing garden’.
The primary school provides classrooms, group rooms, a central library, a multi-purpose hall and dining hall for 630 pupils. The 52-place nursery will provide two nursery rooms with WC facilities, along with a shared kitchen and administration areas. Teaching supplies and furniture were brought in over the Christmas holidays in order for the children to start back to school last week.
