Earlier this summer, ten management apprentices from the Class of 2021 were set a sustainable challenge. The apprentices were put into three groups and set a theme to explore and create initiatives with a positive impact on the Firm’s carbon footprint.
On Thursday 29th September at the Attleborough offices, the apprentices presented back their ideas to the CIMS8 Sustainability Committee who set the challenge, along with other Directors. Teams fed back their ideas on ways to reduce diesel consumption, the creation of a sustainable office charter and employee volunteering.
All the apprentices did a fantastic job on the day presenting and answering the many questions posed to them. It was evident that everyone had put a lot of time and effort into researching their themes and considering the practical, cost and environmental benefits of ideas put forward .
Well done to all the apprentices for their helpful and insightful ideas, which will help us in our continued journey as a Firm to become Net Zero.
