A grand launch event recently took place at the new Broomfield Care Village in Chelmsford, where local community joined staff and residents to enjoy tours, entertainment and refreshments to mark its opening. This is the first in the Principle Care Homes family, with the first residents already welcomed.
The building was derelict when R G Carter and Carter Design Group initially started the project, and in just 18 months, and with complex temporary and permanent works throughout, it has been refurbished, extended and transformed into a specialist home with 137 bedrooms.
