We have been immensely proud to have been part of an urgent project to refurbish Churchill ward at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn.
Providing a 33 bed ward for low acuity patients, the refurbishment of this ward in just 12 days, has helped free up vital bed space in the main hospital to cope with the impact of COVID-19.
We would like to say a huge thank you to all the team, our supply chain and suppliers involved, who worked 12/14 hour days, 7 days a week to complete the scheme; it really was a huge team effort and a real privilege to take the nursing team, who are making such a difference, on a tour of the work achieved. The nursing team even took the time to stop and clap the construction team to show their appreciation, which was quite an emotional moment for all.
