At Cringleford Prep, the new primary school being delivered by R G Carter, the team hosted a tour and talk on site for 20 City College Norwich (CCN) T-Level students, who are on the course Surveying and Design for Construction and the Built Environment’.
This was the very first time on a building site for many of the students, and discussions with Aaron Daly who led the tour, enabled them to visualise classroom theory in practice and get a feel for the challenges and processes on a site.
Follow up trips planned will help understand the stages of construction using this building as a case study. The team are also running a tour for HND level students from CCN in the near future, continuing the long standing relationship the Firm has with supporting this local educational facility.
