This photo from the late 1920’s / early 1930’s, shows the site team in action at The Constitution public house. Featuring R G Carter who can be seen on the left of the top platform near the chimney, it is a wonderful example of construction from its time.

You can just see the old pub sign on the right at the top of the image, and pinned to the post underneath, the recognisable painted R G Carter sign, along with the architect’s board for Buckingham & Berry.
