The canopy structure at Cranfield University, which creates a hangar laboratory at the new Digital Aviation Research and Technology Centre (DARTeC), is now ready for the roof to arrive. 8 metres high at its lowest point and 15 metres at the highest, the canopy sits adjacent to the research centre, its main trusses being a massive 35 metres in length!

The roof will be covered with anodized Kalzip sheeting to match the main building at the end of the month, with both roofs mirroring each other to form the profiles of a stealth fighter when viewed from above.
