At Elstree Studios, construction of The Platinum Stages is in its final month and the team is getting ready to hand over the two news soundstages for the very first production companies to use these amazing new facilities, adjacent to the George Lucas Stage.
Our team can be seen here standing in one of nearly completed 20m high studios, in front of the flexible opening between the two studios, which have a 36,000 sq ft footprint in total.
The last of the multi-coloured grey and terracotta rain-screen cladding has also now been installed on the striking façades of the studios, which sit alongside the new production workshops and offices.
