At the new Energy Centre at the Luton and Dunstable University Hospital, the team have been overseeing installation of plant within this huge new facility, which will eventually supply the entire hospital. This has included 1x Combined Heat and Power (CHP) turbine, 4x centralised Boilers to distribute Low Temperature Hot Water (LTHW) around the site, High Voltage / Low Voltage electrical infrastructure, the installation of two 125,000 litre underground fuel tanks, 3x 2.5MVA High Voltage generators on the first floor and erecting the 37m tall chimney flue seen in this image.

With the external façades nearly complete landscaping underway, it won’t be too long before commissioning is completed, and the benefit of this facility starts to deliver.
