The R G Carter Southern team were delighted to welcome The Mix to Grace Cook Primary and Pre-School at recently. The Mix is a Suffolk charity who work to ensure young people have access to youth work needed to feel empowered.
The 12-16 year olds visiting the project, all looking for career inspiration, undertook design and construction workshops in partnership with Concertus, followed by a site tour to demonstrate the variety of opportunity in our industry and to give them a feel for the work that takes place on site.
These workshops are taking place every two weeks at this new school in Stowmarket, with around six to eight students at a time. The visits are already proving a huge hit with the young people and are a wonderful way for the Firm to engage with the community.
