1996 saw R G Carter deliver the largest high-bay coldstore in Europe for Frigoscania, a client of the Firm since 1968.
Standing 33 metres high, this huge distribution centre at Grimsby had a volume of 6,820,000 ft3 .
Built ‘inside out’ you can see here the storage racking system in place on the concrete slab, which was then clad to create storage for over 33,000 pallets of frozen produce at this North East coastal location.
