In 1968, the first R G Carter Group Training Programme was introduced by Mr. R. E. Carter. Passionate about developing workforce skills and apprenticeships, he appointed the first Group Training Officer David Reeve, to focus on training, apprenticeships and a comprehensive scheme to the create the very best workforce for the next generation and future of the Firm; one which is still very much in place today.
