In 2014 the Civil Engineering team from R G Carter, delivered the five x 2MW turbine scheme at Boardinghouse in March, Cambridge. The turbines weigh 149 tonnes and stand 110 metres tall; the blades themselves 92.5 metres long!
Working with Thrive Renewables and turbine supplier Senvion the team used their near decade expertise already gained in this specialist field to help build a scheme to provide enough renewable energy to power around 6000 homes in the UK.
