It’s the final straight for our Building Solutions team at Bedford Hospital’s Cauldwell Centre, where a full refurbishment has been taking place across two floors of a live operational clinical building to provide additional Outpatient facilities for the Hospital.
The vacated floors are currently being converted into 27 outpatient rooms, four e-consult rooms and three treatment rooms. With three floors still live, it’s been sensitive work to minimise disruption, with the extra challenge of refurbishing windows and repairing the plaster work on the outside of the building.
We are looking forward to removing the scaffolding very soon and handing over this improved facility for the NHS to continue its amazing and vital work for the community.
