The new building and sports provision for Hethersett Academy in Norwich, has now been completed and its pupils already enjoying its benefits! The facility has provided the existing school with a new state-of-the-art performance theatre and an additional 17 new classrooms, for subjects English, Maths and Art. Four new sports courts and two football pitches, using polymeric surfaces, also now give additional space for PE provision.
Officially opened by Dame Rachel de Souza, CEO of Inspiration Trust, and Sue Baldwin, Regional Schools Commissioner, the ceremony was followed by a series of music and drama performances by students, demonstrating the acoustics of the amazing new theatre.
We are very proud to see this well-needed educational facility now providing for the community.
