The new two-storey teaching facility at Hethersett Academy, has seen its first construction milestone, with the steel structure now in place.
The project, for client Norfolk County Council Children’s Services, includes 17 classrooms and new sport provisions, and will prepare the academy for a population growth due in the area.
With the first floor also now completed, work continues on the laying of precast concrete hollow core planks on the roof, and groundwork preparations for the netball and tennis courts, jump pits and car park.
