A building walk through in VR, building bridges, 3D printing and student selfies, all proved a big hit at the R G Carter stand at the Women for the Future event held on Wednesday 27th November, at the John Innes Conference Centre in Norwich.

The event aims to promote STEM careers to over 200 female students, and looks to educate them on the wide variety of career routes available in this subject.

Our ambassadors from R G Carter, from office and site, did an amazing job engaging young people in the world of construction and engineering, their own experiences and apprenticeship courses undertaken at R G Carter, used to inspire those that visited the stand.

First launched in 2015, this year was the fifth event, building on the resounding success of the previous four conferences and the benefit seen in the value of inspiring the next generation of female STEM professionals..
