We’re delighted to have handed over the new YMCA Activity Centre in Newark to YMCA Newark and Sherwood; a facility which aims to bring the community together so that young people can belong, contribute, and thrive.
It’s great to see it already providing so many wonderful benefits for the community; local children are enjoying their new Nursery, the Education suites now open for the new term and the café open for a tasty snack! The changing rooms have also been getting lots of use from the people using the adjacent sports pitches.
With a conference room, therapy rooms, dance and digital studios, a gym, and later in Autumn, the Olympic standard climbing centre opens, it’s certainly going to be a hive of activity!
