We are delighted to hear that the Digi-Tech Factory for City College Norwich, designed by Coffey Architects, and the heritage refurbishment and extension project Ely Museum, has won a 2023 Civic Trust Award. Ely Museum also won a Selwyn Goldsmith Award for universal design. This project was completed by R G Carter in 2020, and was designed by HAT Projects Architects.
A great way to start the new year!
Civic Trust Awards are given to projects that make an outstanding contribution to the community, as well as the quality and appearance of the built environment. The Selwyn Goldsmith Awards are selected by a specially convened panel of universal design experts, seeking to celebrate environment or buildings that are responsive, flexible, welcoming, easy to use and occupy.
Wonderful news that these unique projects have been recognised. Congratulations to everyone involved.
