As part of our continued commitment to educating the next generation, we have been supporting T Level students who are required to complete 315 days of work experience as part of these technical courses.
At the R G Carter Ipswich office, Jacob Jarrett (right) has recently started his 40 week experience, working two days a week with the Pre Construction team. Jacob is undertaking a T-Level in Surveying and Design for Construction and the Built Environment at Suffolk New College.
Here you can see Adam Livermore from the Design team talking Jacob through the initial plans of project. The team will focus on helping Jacob understand the design and construction process needed to get a project from tender stage to site based, bringing his classroom theory to life.
