As our team near completion of the refurbishment at the listed Lowestoft Post Office, seeing this wonderful film by Historic England https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AfaMtjdffEk really brought to life the importance of restoring and breathing new life into heritage buildings such as this.
The film outlines its history from the 19th century to modern day, and announces its new life planned as a visual arts and cultural space, featuring our own Building Solutions Manager who discusses the importance of the work R G Carter has undertaken.
Having not known what all their hard work would eventually house, its great for the team to hear how it will now once again benefit of the community, having stood empty for so many years.
We cant wait to see this wonderful new development in the Post Office’s historic journey.
