A new nursery for Peckover Primary School was recently completed, under the SCAPE framework. The school is located on the Western side of the River Nene and had no nursery provision making school drop-off extremely difficult. To meet demand, the school have added nursery services, enhanced current parking provisions along with a small office extension.
Eco-Classroom Solutions were brought in to provide the timber frame construction, which was assembled on site.
During the works, the site team ran a safety poster competition for the children and also donated time and materials to help install a new sandpit.
The team were delighted to receive a Considerate Constructor Scheme (CCS) score of 41 out of 50 for the positive impact the project had on the community.
