The restoration to the 130 year old roof at Bodley’s Court, King’s College in Cambridge, can now be seen in all its glory, demonstrating the amazing talents of the craftsmen at specialist roofing company Claude N Smith. Phase 1, has now been fully replaced with new Collyweston slates, with lead used to create a neat, professional and authentic finish to the detailing.

Following its closure in the 1960s, Claude N Smith in 2015 obtained planning permission to reopen the mine to supply the replacement Collyweston for this prestigious project.
