After nearly 10 months on site, the historic façade of the 19th century post office in Lowestoft has finally been revealed as the scaffolding is removed.

This three storey Grade II listed building has had its lime stonework cleaned and restored from top to bottom by heritage specialists Aldis and May. You can also see in the image the newly refurbished sash windows on the top two floors, worked on by our own skilled R G Carter carpenters.

A huge milestone and wonderful for the local community to start to see the Post Office finally restored to its former glory, and the start of wider regeneration across this historic town.
