It was a celebratory occasion at the site of Priscilla Bacon Lodge, with a ground-breaking yesterday marking the start of building work for this new state-of-the-art hospice.

Robert Carter, Chairman of R G Carter and Chair of the Board of Trustees for Priscilla Bacon Hospice was delighted to join guests, including Trustees, staff and volunteers, to thank the amazing generosity of donors and supporters, who have helped raise over £10m to make this happen!

Over 50 guests gathered at the hospice site, adjacent to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, including the Lord Lieutenant of Norfolk, Lady Dannatt MBE and Lady Bacon, patron of the charity, who formally broke ground with a ceremonial spade with the Chairman.
