Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit Addenbrookes Hospital
This project involved the reconfiguration and refurbishment of the existing Maternal Foetal Assessment space to create a new Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit in Addenbrookes Hospital. The shop and ward were also remodelled as part of the works.
As the works were within a sensitive live working environment, great care needed to be taken to ensure the safety of the patients, visitors and the client who were using the facilities in the hospital.
Daily morning meetings with the matron of the ward were held to explain the forthcoming days’ work and the noise expected for the day. By working closely with the client and project managers we were able to ensure minimum disruption throughout the contract.
Trespar IPS Panels were used for the toilets and sinks in the ward.
