Tesco Atherstone

The R G Carter Projects team and Tesco embarked upon a fast-paced acquisition site of a previous Co-Op Supermarket. This was a challenging scheme with a set duration of 8 weeks to fully fit out the store from empty shell to ready for customers.

The store is combined with a petrol station which is the sole entity supplying the town of Atherstone and becoming the largest supermarket available, it has been greatly received by customers.

The site itself posed its own challenges with nearby high speed railway lines and also within the shop existing travel agents were to remain operable throughout the scheme without impact to their operations.
