Four years after the construction of a multi-storey car park for Waitrose’s headquarters in Bracknell in 2014, R G Carter has returned to the site to construct a rear extension.
This will provide Waitrose with an additional 164 parking spaces for their Partners. This will comprise of CFA piled foundations (completed by inhouse specialists GM Piling) with a steel frame and Pre-Cast Planks along with a structural topping.
Designed by Carter Design, there will be no water proofing system needed (as per the original) as the roof has been designed to mitigate costs and potential future maintenance risks.
There is a planned side extension to commence in 2019.
