R G Carter has been appointed to the NHS Shared Business Services (NHS SBS) Construction Works Framework, securing places on two framework lots, Lot 1 and 2, covering works up to £5 million in value.
Established by the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) in 2005, it is a joint venture between DHSC and Sopra Steria, specialists in IT and digital integration. Its mission is to improve quality, support better patient outcomes and drive better value for money within the NHS.
NHS SBS are anticipating £10.5 billion of spend nationally across the NHS and wider public sector, with the new Framework providing a competitive and compliant route to market for NHS trusts and other public sector bodies.
Over the seven year framework term, we look forward to building on our existing track record of success in the health sector and support the delivery of important investments in our regional health infrastructure.
