Sunday 5th August saw members of R G Carter Drayton join over 5000 runners who were taking part in the now annual 10km race, Run Norwich. For the third year in a row, R G Carter were proud to support the race and provide the safety ramps around the Theatre Royal, Chantry car park.
The team first had a race to build the ramp. Building started just before 6am and was completed in just under an hour. Those that took part in the race itself, including David Jefferies and Paul Cushing (pictured above), completed the 10km course in under an hour.
Run Norwich takes the runners up and down the city, passing Carrow Road, the Cathedral and other Norwich landmarks. Paul Cushing, Preconstruction Director at Drayton said, “It has been a privilege to work with the Community Sports Foundation again this year, and we thank them for the opportunity to take part in such a fantastic, showpiece event for the city”.
