It was a fascinating and educational experience for our team at the new General Practitioner Hub in Sheffield, as they observed a live training session led by South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue on site, involving a simulated lift shaft rescue from the third floor.
It was a valuable opportunity for all the R G Carter team to see rehearsed complex procedures in a realistic environment, reinforcing the importance of collaboration between site teams and emergency services.
A big thank you to South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue for their commitment to vital community service and allowing us to witness the exercise, which demonstrated their high level of expertise in technical rescue operations.
The Hub is being delivered for Sheffield City Council and the NHS South Yorkshire Integrated Care Board, and has been procured by YorBuild Medium Works Framework.
