An enthusiastic, 9 strong R G Carter team, recently took to the (hockey) pitch at Rushmere Sports Centre, for the annual Ingleton Wood LLP 7-a-side tournament. A total of 12 teams supported the event in Ipswich, representing various sectors including construction and finance.
Well done to all that took part, and congratulation to our team, who reached the semi final, losing only to the eventual tournament winners, Scrutton Bland. All games were played in good spirits and valuable funds of over £1,275 were raised for St Elizabeth Hospice, which provides palliative care to those with life-limiting illnesses in Suffolk.
