In 1981, Robert Carter became Group Chairman of R G Carter. In this image he can be seen in his office, between two framed oil paintings; on the right, one of his grandfather, the founder Mr. R. G. Carter, and on the left, his father Mr. R. E. Carter.
He believed, as today, that the company’s strength was its building expertise, skilled work force and trustworthy reputation; still key attributes of the Firm’s success.
